Videomercials

Bedford Montessori School The Bedford Montessori School in Bedford Ma hired Skillman Video Group to produce a short marketing video or “videomercial” along with two parent testimonials for their web site and for DVD distribution. This shorter marketing video provides an over view of their school for prospective parents and students to see the school, students and teachers in action. SVG producers aided the school with writing the script, shot the video in a half day (4 hours) in HD and edited the video. Marketing Video

Kitchen and Countertop Center of New England, out of Providence Rhode Island, hired Skillman Video Group to produce a marketing video highlighting their unique kitchen and bath design services and installation process. The video will be used on their web site as well as in their show room and at trade shows . Skillman Video Group producers were hired to shoot and edit the final video. Video was shot in HD. Online Lecture Video Series

Hebrew at the Center The nonprofit organization, Hebrew at the Center, hired Skillman Video Group to produce a 30-minute lecture video in Hebrew for their web site. This video was shot using 2 cameras and SVG edited both angles with power point slides into a single video. The soft focus effect was created using a Canon 7D SLR camera which gives the video a softer “film” look and feel. The final video was edited and compressed for educational use on their web site as well as for use as a fundraising tool. Promotional Video

Hamilton Brook Smith and Reynolds hired SVG to produce a comedic series of “mockumentaries” in keeping with today’s reality-tv style, for a presentation to the Association for In-House Corporate Counsel. The producers at SVG collaborated in editing/writing the script, shooting, directing talent and editing the final videos (5 in all). This project was a two-time winner at the 2009 LMA Awards. Instructional Video

Rolf Gates Yoga hired Skillman Video Group to shoot & edit 5 yoga classes for on-line distribution on Yogavibes.com. The classes were shot over two days in HD and edited and compressed for the web. This is a short sample from one of the classes. Additional samples were edited for distribution on Social Media sites such as Face Book and YouTube. Product Video

Blue Raven Technology hired SVG to produce a product video for their “MediaMate 7000” to be shown at a trade show in Hong Kong. SVG aided in shooting and editing the final product video. Click here to learn more about this product video production.

How To Video

ProWindows in Waltham, MA hired Skillman Video Group to script, shoot, and edit several videos for their Social media and Internet Marketing Campaign. In all SVG produced 3 “How-To” videos, 2 “Instructional” videos and an “on line advertisement” video. How To videos are very popular on Social Media Sites which help with search engine rankings. ProWindows also wanted to use these videos as a service tool to educated their customers on the proper care and maintenance of their windows.

Legal Videos

Duane Morris LLP When the national law firm Duane Morris LLP decided to expand its Boston Office, they hired Skillman Video Group to produce a series of Legal marketing videos to promote their new attorneys/practice areas. Multiple videos were shot in about a day and a half ,and were embedded on their web site, as well as edited together for a National TV commercial. Parker/Scheer LLP The Boston Personal Injury law firm of Parker/Scheer hired Skillman Video Group to produce a series of Legal marketing videos for their web site. Multiple videos were shot in one day and were not only embedded on their web site, but also used to help in their overall Internet Marketing campaign (SEO & social media). Recruitment Video

Wolf Greenfield LLP The Boston based Intellectual Property Law Firm, Wolf Greenfield, hired Skillman Video Group to produce 22 videos for their “Careers” page. They wanted the videos as a recruitment tool to help attract the best talent in the science and technology field to their firm. This is the 2nd time they have worked with SVG, the first back in 2008. Client Testimonial Video

HolliBalance Well-being Center hired Skillman Video Group to script, shoot, and edit several videos for their Social Media and Internet Marketing Campaign. In all SVG produced 1 marketing video, 4 client testimonial videos and an 1-minute on line advertisement video for Dr. Yi Song, a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Boston, MA. Video Client Testimonials are a powerful way to market your services or products to potential customers or patients.

Travel Documentary

LiteraryTraveler.tv hired Skillman Video Group to produce a short travel documentary with host and founder of Literary Traveler, Francis McGovern. Francis takes us on a journey remembering his youth and growing up a few miles from Thoreau’s Walden Pond. The video was shot in one day as we followed him from his childhood home in Waltham to Walden Pond in Concord, MA. Video was produced in HD.

Training Video

Legal Seafood Foods About.com is a part of the New York Times and is the largest publisher of original content on the web attracting over 32 million users per month in the United States alone. Skillman Video Group was hired by the site to produce a series of “How To” and informational videos, which were shot, edited and compressed for the web. SVG partnered with Legal Sea Foods in Boston, MA to produce a series of cooking videos. This one was on “How to Open an Oyster”. Live Event Videos

Yamaha Music School of Boston uses Skillman Video Group to shoot and edit their “Year End Concerts” every June. Both concerts were edited onto full-length DVDs and distributed to parents. This video was edited as a “Highlight Reel” from both concerts and was placed on YouTube as well as their own site for marketing and promotional purposes. Two cameras were used to capture the event.
