Showcasing Philanthropy: Freeman XP’s Inspiring Event at Boston Convention Center
A Unique Event with a Noble Cause
SVG was recently contracted to produce live event videography for Freeman XP, an organization that collaborates with over 5,000 non-profit groups.
The client was hosting a series of booths at the Boston Convention Center, where various philanthropies had gathered to discuss the process of aging.
This event was a unique opportunity to showcase the efforts of numerous organizations dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the elderly and other marginalized communities.

Creative Booth Designs and Themes
One of the standout booths was an LGBT campground, where attendees gathered to discuss acceptance and respect.
The floor space was intricately designed by their creative director, who flew all the way from London to the event. This booth created a welcoming and inclusive environment, emphasizing the importance of support and understanding within the LGBT community.
Another booth outlined the history of communication devices and the technological progress we’ve made since the earliest designs.
It featured interactive displays that allowed attendees to engage with the evolution of communication technology.
Additionally, a mock Boston Red Sox baseball field booth brought a sense of nostalgia and local pride, attracting sports enthusiasts and providing a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Documenting the Event
Freeman XP also requested still photography of the event. SVG, with its extensive network of professional connections in the New England area, was able to provide this service, making us a one-stop shop for all media marketing needs.
Our photographers captured the essence of the event, from candid moments at the booths to the overall ambiance of the convention center.
A Wall of Voices
One of the most impactful features of the event was a large wall where attendees could write their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and hopes for the future in permanent marker.
As the day progressed, the wall became a vibrant tapestry of voices, reflecting the diverse perspectives and aspirations of those present.
This interactive element allowed participants to leave a lasting mark and contributed to a sense of community and shared purpose.
B-Roll and City Footage
To add more depth to the project, the company arranged for an Uber to drive around the city and capture B-roll footage.
This additional content provided a dynamic backdrop to the event, showcasing the vibrant cityscape of Boston and its bustling streets.
The B-roll footage complemented the event coverage, adding a cinematic quality to the final video product.
Efficient Turnaround and Quality Delivery
Working on a tight deadline, our Director of Photography, who is no stranger to fast turnarounds, was able to deliver the raw video files to the client on the same day.
The photo files were taken home by the photographer for editing, ensuring they met our high standards of quality.
Editing is always a necessity and an integral part of our service, guaranteeing that the final images and videos are polished and professional.
An Exhilarating Shoot Day
Overall, it was another exhilarating shoot day for SVG.
The event not only highlighted the important work of various non-profit organizations but also provided a platform for meaningful conversations and connections.
Our team was proud to be part of such a significant event, capturing the spirit of philanthropy and community.
Looking Ahead
This project reaffirmed our commitment to delivering high-quality videography and photography services under tight deadlines.
We look forward to future collaborations with Freeman XP and other organizations dedicated to making a positive impact.
By documenting these events, we aim to amplify the voices of those who strive to create a better world.
