SVG on Set: Live Event Videography for Freeman XP

Another day, another shoot! SVG was recently contracted to produce some live event videography for Freeman XP, who works classes with over 5,000 non-profit organizations.
The client was hosting a series of booths at the Boston Convention Center where various philanthropies had gathered last week. The theme focused on the process of aging.

One of their main booths was an LGBT campground where people gathered to discuss acceptance and respect. The floor space was intricately designed by their creative director who flew all the way from London rot he event.

One of their other booths outlined the history of communication devices and the progress we’ve made since the earliest designs. Another was set up like a mock Boston Red Sox baseball field.

In addition to hiring a professional videographer, Freeman XP was also interested in acquiring some still photography of the event. SVG has many professional connections in the New England area, so we were happy to also provide this service so the client only needed to work with one company for all of their needs, making us a sort of one stop shop for media marketing.

The event also featured a large wall where anyone could walk up and write their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and hopes for the future in permanent market for the public to see. As more and more people contributed, the wall became covered in the voices of the attendees. The company also got an Uber to drive around the city to record some nice B-Roll.

Working on a tight deadline, our DP is no stranger to a fast turnover and was able to deliver the raw files to the client that very day. The photo files were taken home with the photographer to be edited, which is always a necessity and always included. Overall, it was another exhilarating shoot day.
